In July 2024, authorities in Bao'an District Shenzhen busted a major counterfeit trademark operation, seizing 180,000 fake "Hayati®" anti-counterfeit labels. The suspect, Mr. Zeng, a local print shop owner, was arrested.

After investigation, it was found that the suspect, Mr. Zeng illegally produced and sold counterfeit "Hayati®" labels amounting to 180,000 pieces without brand authorization.These fake tags, if released, could flood the market with inferior products, harming consumers and tarnishing Hayati®'s reputation. His actions are suspected of violating Article 215 of the China's Criminal Law, "Crime of Counterfeiting or Unauthorized Manufacture of Registered Trademarks of Others," which can carry penalties of up to three years in prison and fines.
